ITK House, 91 Maple Street in 1984

Situated at the top of Maple Street, the old ITK house was the perfect fraternity home -- close enough to downtown and the bar scene, yet only a few minutes "still drunken crawl" up to campus the next morning. And that's If you made it at all. Margo's Superette was literally a 60 second walk for beers, subs, chips and many other staple items. I can remember as if it were yesterday...mooning the SUCO bus from the front porch; alumni weekend parties with all the brothers on the porch and porch roof; watching girls deliberately cross the street 30 feet from our driveway rather than walk past us and be subjected to cat calls, whistles and general harrasment; pledge class lineups and hell nights like no other; getting red beard at the Bungy house at the very top of Maple Street; running over to Margo's after the Sunday meeting and spending $5.89 on a case of "Black Death" (Black Label beer), a brew that often gave you the ... :-0
